When the Live Social Feed does not update and shot any photos from Facebook but regular status updates are showing and videos are displaying as well, there usually is a sync problem between Facebook and Windows Live account. This issue seems to happen as well on home.live.com and on the Windows Phone 7 mobile version. You will have to remove and reconnect your Facebook account to Windows Live Messenger 2011 again.

- Sign in to http://profile.live.com/
- From the left side, click Manage under Connected to
- Click Remove under the service you want to remove
- Click Remove.
Now reconnect the Facebook service to MSN Messenger again.
- To start, your Messenger should be on Full View, and scroll way down in the status updates to get to Connect to your Services.
- Login to your account
- A confirmation window will appear saying that Facebook and Windows Live Messenger are now connected.
